How did I get where I am today?

  When I was younger, I’ve always admired my mom when she would do peoples hair. So, in the 5th grade, I asked her if she could teach me all of her skills. She then bought me a mannequin head and showed me everything she knew! It took me about 3 days to fully learn how to braid and once I figured it out, it became a habit that I deeply enjoyed. When I got older, I had dreams of becoming a professional stylist, so I enrolled myself in Empire Beauty School. Coincidentally, that was the same school my mom went to, but they called it "New Wave" at that time. After successfully graduating cosmetology school, I obtained my license by passing the state board exam! I then decided it was finally time to turn my hobby into a business.
